LRE Ridgley Red Cross Donation
May 13, 2025

When devastating spring storms and floods caused significant damage in Northwest Tennessee, local agencies stepped up to help rebuild and restore the community.
LRE stepped up, too.
LRE was proud to recently host a luncheon in partnership with the American Red Cross’ Tennessee – Mid-South Chapter where we presented a check to support ongoing flood relief efforts. The donation was made through the Red Cross chapter serving Lake County—home to our Ridgely Solar project, which is currently nearing completion,
The donation supports the Red Cross’ disaster response and recovery work, assisting dozens of local families affected by the storms. American Red Cross Tennessee – Mid-South Chapter provided more than 2,500 meals and snacks, 3,200 relief supplies, and nearly 200 overnight stays in five area emergency shelters, serving more than 600 households.
The community luncheon included representatives from the Red Cross, emergency management agencies, and Lake County Mayor Danny Cook, State Rep. Rusty Grills, and LRE representatives from Public Affairs and Ridgely Solar.
“Recovery is a long journey,” said Sarah Breazeale, Executive Director of the American Red Cross – Mid-South Chapter. “Support from partners like LRE is helping bring strength, hope, and stability to communities in crisis. The American Red Cross of the Mid-South thanks LRE for your commitment and generosity.”
