LRE at ACP Siting & Permitting Conference

Native American Tribal lands are a key consideration for LRE in developing, building and operating our renewable energy facilities. It was an honor for LRE to discuss our journey, insights and key learnings in developing our organization-wide Tribal Engagement Policy at the recent American Clean Power Association (ACP) Siting & Permitting Conference.

LRE Public Affairs Manager Kristen Rosenberger shared the stage with Brandon Scott, Cherokee Nation VP of Enterprise Communications, and our Tribal Consultant Hannah J. Jackson of Schnake Turnbo Frank. Our policy evolved from several solar projects in Oklahoma, where we worked closely with both our tribal engagement consultant and the Cherokee Nation. We are thankful for their partnership, expertise and guidance as we continue our commitment to listen, learn and grow.
